Mouser Electronics is stocking a 5G linear RF amplifier from Qorvo.
QPA9822 is designed for 32-node mMIMO (massive multiple-input and multiple-output) antenna systems found in wideband 5G NR (new radio) with instantaneous signal bandwidths up to 530MHz, “making it ideally suited for the N77 band”, according to Qorvo.
Ports are internally match to 50Ω over the 3.3 – 4.2GHz operating range, and it offers 38dB gain at 3.6GHz and a P3dB of 29dBm.
The package is 3 x 3mm 16pad surface-mount, with a central heat pad and pads for chip-enable enable and bias control.
Single rail power is required at +5V.
Qorvo has yet to unveil the full data sheet, despite the amplifier being announced over a year ago. Mouser has a data brief here
